My name is Laura, I'm sixteen years young, joining the small world of blogging. This is my little piece of the internet where I hope to share with you my interests in fashion and beauty :)

I am sixteen years old (4th august)

♥ What do you study?

I have just finished up my first year at college, studying Law, World Development, Sociology and
Photography A-level

♥ Where are you from?
South East England

♥ What camera do you use?
Nikon D3100

♥ Interesting facts?

Apart from fashion, my other main passion actually lies within the equine industry.. I know, complete
opposite from fashion and beauty shall we say! Horses have always been a love of mine since a very 
young age, I have a horse who I have on loan and he will always be my top priority, I literally
could not imagen life without him! I am hoping to go to uni after college to study Equine 
Studies and Stud Management and do blogging on the side :)

♥ Why start a blog?
I feel like its got to that time in life where you just want to actually do everything you've had on that
list in your head. I've regretted a lot of things in my life, so now my attitude is more focused around
'well at least I tried' rather than 'I wonder what would have happened if..' Although I know I want 
to go into the equine industry, fashion is my other passion and I feel that I cant let it slip and I just
want to give it a go. I enjoy writing about the latest fashion trends and experimenting with 
make-up.. so I felt it was only right to create a 'getaway' in a sense. 

♥ Why LauraRuthx?
I chose LauraRuthx as my first name is Laura, my middle name is Ruth, and the 'x' is because
it was already taken without it *damnn haha!* I used to hate my middle name being Ruth and
I used to change it to Rose, but as I've got older I've grown to actually quite like the name
now, I feel its a little bit unique :)

♥ Have you got your natural hair colour?
My hair has most probably been dyed within an inch of its life shall we say. I have however about 
a year ago started to grow my hair out back to my natural dark brown, although a few months ago 
I did bleach ombre that last sections of my hair as I wanted to experiment with my hair again 
without ruining the regrowth.

♥ How do you style your hair?
When I was younger I always had to straighten my hair! I would have not even of thought about 
leaving the house without it being straightened. It was only since the end of year 11 that I finally 
found sense, and now I always have my hair styled with its natural waves. Its funny because 
whenever I straighten my hair now, I think it looks quite awful and that it doesn't suit me 
at all haha!
